Day 01: Arrive Beijing
You'll be met on arrival in Beijing. On the way to the Hotel, your guide will explain tomorrow's arrangements. Spend the rest of the day exploring the nearby streets, or resting and catching up on your jetlag. Beijing is a city of amazing con trasts - an ancient capital with some incredible historical sites, and a bustling modern metropolis getting ready to host the 2008 Olympics.
Day 02: Beijing (B, L)
One day tour including the Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City and Temple of Heaven. The day begins at Tiananmen Square, the largest City Square in the world. From there you will enter the Forbidden City, a powerful maze of ancient palaces and courtyards from which the emperor ruled the land for 500 years. After lunch we will take you to The Temple of Heaven a Ming Temple where the Emperors performed annual rites essential for the well being of their land.
Day 03: Beijing (B, L)
Today's excursion to the Great Wall (Juyong Guan section) of China promise to be a highlight of our travels. We¡¯ll have a chance to take a hike along one of the most beautiful sections and learn of its construction 2000 years ago, and examine first-hand one of the most scenic portions of its 3700 miles length. After lunch, you will be taken to The Summer Palace, a vast and beautiful landscape of elegant garden, lakes and pavilions. We'll admire the famous Marble Boat during the visit.
Day 04: Beijing air Kunming (B, L)
This morning you will take trishaw into Hutong, which is an ancient city alley, to experience the life of the local people. Visit the old quadrangles inhabited by Beijing residents. Tour in the Prince Gong's Palace and have a cup of tea. You also have an opportunity to visit a local family and chat with local people. Take afternoon flight to Kunming. Arrive Kunming, meet and transfer to the hotel.
Day 05: Kunming (B, L)
In the morning we will visit the Dounan Flower Village to see the flower market and experience how the farmers there sell their flowers in the biggest flower market in Kunming. Next we will travel to the Stone Forest Scenic Area. The Stone Forest is called the "No.1 Wonder Under Heaven". The area is a deeply eroded limestone Karst area, and is the highest karst terrain in the world. The unique natural sights and Sani folklore are characteristics of the Stone Forest Scenic Area
Day 06: Kunming air Lijiang (B, L)
Take the morning flight to Lijiang. Arrive Lijiang, transfer to hotel. Visit the Black Dragon Pool Park and enjoy beautiful views of 18,000-foot-high Yulong Shan (Jade Dragon Mountain) reflected in the waters of Black Dragon Pool. Visit Black Dragon Park, explore Lijiang Old Town and the Square Market. As you walk through the old town, you will immediately get An unique feeling by small bridges, swift streams, cobbled streets and gray tiled roofs of the Residential Houses. It is an ancient legacy of Naxi people.
Day 07: Lijiang (B, L)
Visit the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, take big cable car up to the peak of the mountain, hike in the mountain, enjoy the breath-taking view of the main peak (5596m high), and then drive to visit the outlying village of Baisha the old capital of the Naxi, where you can admire the frescoes on one of its ancient temples. The Naxi Ancient Music performance is arranged in the evening. The Naxi are the last people in China to play Song Dynasty tunes derived from Taoist scriptures.
Day 08: Lijiang/ Dali (B, L)
Drive to Dali after breakfast. Arrive Dali, you will take a leisurely two-hour boat ride on Erhai Lake, with a chance to see the fishing junks that play this vast, shallow lake. The smaller junks often use captive cormorants to do the work of fishing, a practice that has been used in China for centuries. Day 09: Dali air Kuming (B, L)
Visit the landmark of Dali---Three Pagodas and then take the flight back to Kunming. Arrive Kunming, transfer to hotel.
Day 10: Kunming air Shanghai (B, L)
Take the flight to Shanghai. Arrive Shanghai. Tour to Bund, The water front of Shanghai, on either side you will find the Shanghai's today, yesterday and tomorrow, meanwhile you have a chance to enjoy the Exhibition of World Architectures at spot. And then go to famous Nanjing Shopping Road for shopping.
Day 11: Shanghai (B, L)
Today you will visit Shanghai Museum, which is one of the four most famous Museums in China, is famous for its Porcelain and Bronze wares collections. If you are lucky enough, you will find some International exhibitions for your own interests. Jade Buddha Temple, one of the famous Buddhism Temples in Shanghai with over 100 years, is followed, inside the temple you may find many vivid jade or marble status. Then Yu Garden, a Chinese classic garden with over 400 years old, is situated at old town area of Shanghai, you may have glimpse of ancient Shanghai
Day 12: Shanghai Exit (B)
Enjoy free till transfer to the airport for flight onward.

Quotation Includes
1. The economy-class air charges of the domestic flight or soft sleeper/seat train charge between cities as specified in the itinerary.
2. The hotel accommodation is based on two persons sharing one standard twin room with private facilities in all relevant locations. If a single client requests a twin room alone, the single room supplement will be charged.
