Liangfengjiang State Forest Reserve

The Liangfengjiang State Forest Reserve is located in the southeastern suburbs of the city, 13 kilometers from the city center. The clear water of Liangfengjiang River slowly flows through the reserve. The banks of the river are flanked by lush trees and grasses. Pavilions and towers set off the unique environment of fragrant flowers and wild grasses.

The reserve has a variety of trees from the subtropical zones and a total of 1,294 different trees in 122 varieties from Guangxi that are under protection. Among these are 85 rare varieties under State protection.

The Chinese Village of Primitive Culture, a large-scale tourist attraction, is currently under construction. The exhibits are intended to help visitors gain a clear understanding of prehistoric culture and life for our distant ancestors.
