Detail itinerary

D1 and D2: Beijing

Tourists visit Tiananmen Square, Palace Museum of Beijing, the Summer Palace and the Great Wall of Badaling, and leave for Anyang by night train.

D3: Anyang-Zhengzhou

In the morning tourists visit the Museum of the Yin Ruins--the place where the Chinese characters carved on tortoise shells or animal bones are discovered, and well-known Wenfeng Pagoda; in the afternoon tourists visit Youlicheng, the birthplace for the ancient Book of Changes, then leave for Zhengzhou. (stay in Zhengzhou at night)

D4: Zhengzhou

In the morning, tourists visit Henan Museum, one of the four largest museums in China; in the afternoon tourists visit the Yellow River Scenic area, scenery of the Yellow River by hovercraft; at night, tourists can have a good time in Yingxie Garden in Zhengzhou, they can taste the wide with mutton--a local flavor, watch the performance of Shaoli martial arts as well as enjoy the local opera of Henan. (stay in Zhengzhou at night)

D5: Zhengzhou-Kaifeng

In the morning, tourists visit the Qingming Shanghe Garden (in the style of the Northern Song Dynasty in Kaifeng), and the Dragon Pavilion; at noon, they can taste the well-known local snack--Kaifeng Baozi, a kind of dumpling; in the afternoon tourists visit the Iron Pagoda, the Site of Kaifeng Fu and Memorial Temple of Lord Bao or Xiangguo Temple, Shan-Shaan-Gan Guildhall. At night, tourists visit the night market along the Gulou Road and enjoy the food of local flavors. (stay in Kaifeng at night)

D6: Kaifeng-Luoyang

In the morning, tourists set off to Luoyang. At noon, visitors can taste the food with local flavor-- Shuixi, literally water feast; in the afternoon, tourists visit the White Horse Temple- the birthplace for the Chinese Buddhism, and the National Peony Garden as well as the Longmen Grottoes-- one of the three greatest treasure houses in China (the world cultural heritage) and the Lord Guan's Memorial Temple (Guan Yu, a famous general at the end of the Han Dynasty). At night, visitors leave for Xi’an.

D7: Xian

Tourists visit the Museum of Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses, Shanxi Museum and the Dayan Pagoda, then return to Beijing or return to Zhengzhou.
