Highlight: This tour is different from the regular tour lines, it starts from Tsedang Country, Gonggar Town. The way from Tesedang to Mt.Everest, you'll have a visit to all the main attractions in Tibet.
Itinerary: (B=breakfast, L=lunch, D=dinner)

Day01 Arrive in Lhasa, transfer to hotel. [D]

Arrive at Gonggar Airport, pick up and transfer to Tsedang(3450 m) with about 90 minutes' driving (100km), rest for acclimatization after your arrival.

Day02 Tsedang sightseeing. Yumbulakhang and Trundruk monastery.[B/L/D]

Yumbulakhang is the first palace in Tibet. If the time is enough, you can take a chance to see Mindroling monastery.

Day 03 Tsedang--Lhasa, visit Samye monastery [B/L/D]

On the way to Lhasa, you will take the ferry to cross the Yurlung Tsangpo River for visiting Samye monastery, it is the first monastery for Tibetan Buddhism.

Day04Lhasa sightseeing [B/L/D]

In the morning visit Potala, which was originally constructed in 637 by Songtsen Gampo, the first king of the united Tibet, and later expanded and served as the winter residence of the Dalai Lama's. In the afternoon visit Jokhang temple, the center of the Tibetan Buddhism and the sacred land of Buddhist followers where innumerable pilgrims come for worship everyday. The Jokhang temple was built in 647, is the earliest wood-and-masonry structure still existing in Tibet. Surrounding the Jokhang Temple is the Barkhor Bazza, there you can find many kinds of local products.

Day05Lhasa Sightseeing, visit Drepung and Sera monastery[B/L/D]

In the morning visit Drepung monastery, the biggest monastery in Tibet which was created in 1416 and the second, third and fourth Dalai Lama had resided in. In the afternoon visit Sera monastery, which was created in 1419 and has always been an important Buddhist seminary. As rose are planted everywhere in the monastery, it is also called "the court of wild rose". Today still 200 lamas live in there. You may enjoy the exciting scripture debating there.

Day 06: Lhasa--Gyantse, visit Yumdrok Lake[B/L/D]

Drive 300kms, pass the Ganbala pass and Karo-La pass, you can take a chance to see the wonderful view of Kara-La glacier en-route. At the same time, you can also see the beautiful holy lake, Yumdrok lake, it is one of the three most sacred lakes in Tibet.

Day 07 Gyantse--Shigatse[B/L/D]

Shigatse is one of the economic and political center of Tibet like Lhasa city. Its main attraction is Tashilumpo monastery. this afternoon, you will visit Palkhor monastery with Kumbu Pagoda in Gyantse, then drive to Shigatse.

Day 08 Shigatse--Tingri:Tashilumpo monastery[B/L/D]

In the morning, visit Tashilumpo monastery, the oldest and largest Gelugpa monastery in Tibet. There you can see the highest Bronze statue, called future Buddha. After your lunch, drive to Tingri, the best place for acclimatization before you visit Mt. Everest.

Day 09 Tingri--Everest Base Camp--Tingri: visit Rongbuk monastery[B/L/D]

Get up earlier this morning, drive to Rongbuk monastery first, it is the highest monastery in Tibet due to its elevation. Then drive to Mt. Everest Base Camp,you can have a face to face experience of Mt. Everest. After you enjoy the unique view of Himalayas, drive back to Tingri this afternoon.

Day 10 Tingri--Shigatse[B/L/D]

Accommodation: Shigatse wutse hotel

Day 11 Shigatse--Lhasa[B/L/D]

Accommodation: Shangbala hotel or similar class

Day 12 drive to the airport and departs for your next destination, your Tibet tour ends.[B]
