Day by day itinerary 
Day01: Taiyuan [L+D]
Visit Jinci Temple, the Double-Tower Temple, the China Coal Museum and the Vinegar Mill of Shanxi where you can know how vinegar is made. Have typical noodle meal of Shanxi and watch noodle-made showing at dinner.
Day02: Taiyuan/MountWutai [B+L+D] 
Take a coach to Mount Wutai in the morning. Take a whole afternoon tour of four temples: Xiantong Temple, the oldest and largest temple of Wutai, Pusading Temple where Emperor Kangxi in Qing Dynasty once stayed when he came to Mount Wutai, Tayuan Temple with a white pagoda, the symbol of Mount Wutai and Wuye Temple , the most popular temple of Mount Wutai. Have Vegetarian meal for dinner.
Day03: Mount Wutai /Datong [B+L+D]
Day04: Datong/Pingyao [B+L+D]
Visit Qiao Family's Mansion in Qixian County, where the well—known film, Raise the Lantern was shot. Then take a coach to Pingyao Ancient City and tour the Ancient City Wall, Risheng chang Draft Bank, the first bank of China, Ming—Qing street and the Yamen of Pingyao. Have typical local tidbits in Pingyao for dinner.
Day05: Pingyao/Linfen/Yuncheng [B+L+D] 
Visit SuSan prison where Susan was imprisoned according to the popular opera, the Chinese Scholar Tree and then go to Haizhou Town, Yuncheng City to visit the largest Martial Temple. Guandi Temple.
Day06: Yuncheng/Xian [B+L+D]
The exploration may include the Iron Cast Oxes made in TangDynasty, the stork—sparrow Building and Pujiu Temple the setting of the love story XiXiangJi.
Day07: Xian [B+L+D]
Day08:See off.
