Nanjing’s Nightscape
Known in ancient times as Jinling, Nanjing was once “a gold plated land” known as "capital of six kingdoms, the beautiful city of Wu Sangui.” Its nightscape is characterized by that sense of its being an ancient capital, summed up in the phrase “mountains and water, city and forest. Mount Zhong’s inspiring natural beauty, Qinwei’s fire of lights… neon lights gradually bedazzle the eyes, making it feel as if you were in the land of the fairies.

Dalian's Nightscape
The sound of the waves can be heard from time to time at night along the sea. This is Dalian: nestled against mountains and sitting on the coast, where the vast Pacific Ocean bellows and the air is braced with salt. Enjoy delicious seafood as you face the ocean waters cooled and calmed under Dalian’s seductive night skies.

Chengdu's Nightscape
To quote the ancient poem, “Outside my window the snow - of a thousand autumns on the Western Peaks / Outside my gate ships from Dong Wu come and go, 10,000 Li or more.” Called “the Heavenly Land”, Chengdu is a place that nourishes, where tall peaks and deep valleys meet. Watch the lights reflected on the river at night or enjoy another thing that the city is known for – its bars.

Chongqing's Nightscape
The night skies of this mountain city have their own special flair, a three-dimensional aesthetic reinforced by the crossing back and forth of rivers, boats, bridges, trees and buildings. The Yangtze and Jialing Rivers meet together here in Chongqing to form the region’s ancient name, “Ba”, which, together with its nightscape is referred to as “a character in the water and evening lights”. Attractions like Mount Pipa Park and the “Single Tree” on Southern Mountain are worthy of the phrase “In the day time look at the mountain city, at night gaze at the sea of lights.”

Wuhan's Nightscape
A popular title for Wuhan is “The Thoroughfare of Nine Provinces.” The archetypical landscapes of the Jianghan plain constitute the very place where the Chu culture originated thousands of years ago. The Yellow Crane Tower and the Wuhan Bridge are both ablaze with light at night, resonating with the infinitely seductive charm of this river city.
